Coolors
Generate high-quality color palettes & quickly export multiple color profiles in PDF. Other tools offered- select colors from image, recolor designs, Figma plug-in, Adobe extension
Dropbox
Because sometimes you just don't feel like carrying around your hard drives. It's efficient even for temporary use on the go. You don't have to keep things there forever but take advantage of the free 5gigs.
Procreate
I use Procreate to sketch, draw, design, record, customize 3D renders, import Coolors Palettes, etc. You can even edit .psd files- it's truly an all-in-one- platform. Apple Pencil required for best use
Honeybook
Contracts, CRM, Customer portals, project managment, scheduling, lead capture, document control- at this point the only thing Honey Book is missing is providing you a phone number.
Material Design
Even if you're not a product designer, as a designer, you will need to have some experience/knowledgeability in UX. I use MAterial Design to stay sharp in what's standard in the UX world.
Notion
Notion is what Honeybook would be without al of the bells and whitsles. I describe it as a static file manager. I've used it to organize my studies but is my go to if I need to organize miscellaneous files and resources.
Animography Controller
If I'm not designing animated text by hand, i'm rigging characters in AE. You can use this on your custom fonts but Animography also offers vector based kinetic type faces you can edit with their plug-in.
Gratitude Journal
I used this app every day called '3 Good Things' on apple and jot 3 daily notes for gratitude, it discontinued so I built my own. Enjoy
EZ Gif
I convert a lot of 4k videos to gif for web usage (sorry to webP), and this is my go to tool. It does so much more with 50+ additional offerings. It's worth the bookmark for sure.
Glyphs 3
She's pricey, she's worth it. I create lots of custom typefaces so i frequent it. Glyphs offers a better interface for additional glyphs for all formats- .ttf, .otf, .woff, etc. Yes, it recognizes & creates SVG formats also.
WeTransfer
Has been my preferred web based data transfer option for years- sending directly to inbox. While they have changed things, if you do transfer large files often, it may be worth the Pro subscrition.
Nix
You don't have a color scanner? You're missing out! Sometimes color picking from images isn't the most reliable, having something handheld is preferred. This one is small, affordable and quality.
Nomad Sculpt
You need to have a 3D platform in your artillery, Nomad Sculpt is mine. Can use on Web, Desktop and iPad. Fluid usability and easy to pick up on if you're a beginner. Can export .obj files to Procreate for customization.
Affinity Designer
I actually don't care fo Illustrator, but I use it because it's included in my CC subscription. Affinity designer is actually my favorite. Accessible on Desktop & iPad, $40 one time fee. Great tools, amazing functionality, quality exports.
Stripe
Outside of your business bank account, you need to have a secure payment portal. Stripe is sophisticated but has saved me from fraud transactions and chargebacks in the past. You can even set up a virtual storefront.
